Another Friday, another update!
This week was a short one as I'm taking a training from Thursday to Sunday.

expoon. — online trade show for culture and economy
I finished the shortterm project I wrote about last time on Tuesday and it's now online. expoon. is about taking the key things of a traditional trade show and combining them with the benefits of the web.
I extended the already available website with two prototype sites for three sample trade shows. This sites had to be in the existing look and feel of the other site and provide a good understanding of the functionality of the future platform.

If things go well, I will have the opportunity to develop the actual platform as well.

Rescue 3 Swiftwater Rescue Technician
By the time you receive this update I will have finished my second day of training to become a Swiftwater Rescue Technician.
What this has to do with design and development? Nothing directly. As you may already know I work as a canoe guide at Trango from time to time. Everytime this gives me an important break from my computer work and also provides me with new ideas. I already did five tours this summer. In these four days I learn valuable skills to be able to react accordingly in a situation of danger.
And who knows, maybe one day it will help me in my business when I'm in deep water :)
